Are you licensed to supply all pharmaceuticals?

Yes, we are licensed to supply all pharmaceuticals and Controlled Drugs under MHRA Good Distribution Practice guidelines.

Are you able to ship medicines or must they be collected?

Yes, we are able to consolidate all your items and pack them securely to ensure safe delivery to the destination of your choice. We can offer freight and routing options to suit your budget or you can arrange for medicines to be collected by your own freight forwarder if this is more convenient. Please note that it is the recipient’s responsibility to check and confirm any Import restrictions. We do not accept liability for goods held/confiscated by customs.

What are your payment terms?

Durbin accepts payment in Pounds Sterling (UK£, GBP), US Dollars (US$, USD) and Euros (€) and are happy to quote prices in any of these currencies.

New customers are usually required to pay for orders in advance of despatch. Once a customer is established with Durbin credit limits and payment terms can be arranged.

Do you have a catalogue?

No we do not produce a catalogue. As we source thousands of medicines from hundreds of manufacturers across the globe, it is easier for customers to specify the medicine they require. We can then advise them on availability, lead time and price. Please note that our ‘Sales to NGO’s and Charities’ division do produce a Medical Supplies catalogue however most of the pharmaceutical items listed are only for use outside the EC.

I am a member of the public, would you supply to me?

No, our licenses will only allow us to supply pharmaceuticals to authorised premises and healthcare professionals.

Can you guarantee regular supplies?

Normally yes, however this is of course subject to current market conditions and availability.

What is the average lead time?

We can normally despatch within 48 hours, however this is subject to availability from suppliers.

Do you guarantee safe and secure delivery of products?

Yes, we always use high quality export packaging. We also use specialised hazard packing for dangerous goods and validated cold storage shippers for temperature sensitive items. Specialist packaging and non-standard packing requirements may incur an additional charge.

Can you supply the relevant documentation?

Yes, we can provide most documentation including Certificates of Analysis / Conformance; Insurance; Origin, and other export documents where required. Legalisation can be provided at extra cost.

What is the procedure for obtaining Controlled Drugs?

Every Purchase Order (PO) for Controlled Drugs must be accompanied by an Import Permit issued by the Ministry of Health in the recipient’s country. Durbin are unable to process orders without Import Permits.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No, but we may be able to offer a discount when larger quantities are ordered.

Do you supply medicines all over the world?

Yes, currently we supply pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and consumable supplies to over 180 countries across the globe.
