Durbin drives exciting US expansion with landmark acquisition

In an exciting move on 1st December 2014, The Durbin Group acquired Pharmaceutical Trade Services Inc. (PTSI) from UDG Healthcare PLC.
PTSI is an established US-based pharmaceutical supplier, which has been in operation for over 15 years. They specialise in supplying US pharmaceutical, OTC and nutritional supplement products not yet licensed in the importing country, including controlled substances, temperature-controlled products and hazardous materials. Products are supplied to importers on a named-patient basis and on authorisation from the importing country's Ministry of Health.
PTSI liases between US manufacturers and clinical trial facilities that require a supply of pharmaceutical products for clinical studies.
This landmark acquisition cements Durbin’s position as one of the world’s leading global pharmaceutical specialist distributors.
